Race With Reason: #tbt to the Frozen Gnome 10k I did back in January. It was my first 10k and first trail race. It was also a 50k ultra (racers did the 10k loop 5x). That race was the first experience I had to the world of ultra running (even though I only did the 10k), and it was the seed that was planted in my head about ultra trail running. This Sunday I am running my first 1/2 marathon, and I am already wanting to explore the world of ultra trail running even though I haven't even done a marathon. by mfarring13
