Just like last year, the SD Holiday Half Marathon would have been my 20th and final race of the year. This morning, I made the decision to skip this race so I don't aggrivate my foot more than it already is. I’m bummed that I missed the race, but I know it was the right decision. It would have been a painful run and it would have made things worse. I have a doctor appointment next week to get this checked out. I met up with my friend Lito at the finishing line. I was hoping to catch my other friends too, but I didn’t see them. Even though I didn’t complete this race, I am still celebrating my accomplishments. I earned 25 medals this year and that is reason enough to celebrate. by randyfleet
