4⃣ mentally cloudy miles tonight. I'm one of the many runners out there who run for those who can't. I may not have the longest or fastest runs but every mile is dedicated towards my mom who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) about 4 years ago. We received some potentially bad news today, so I laced up my Brooks and headed to my favorite park. For a couple miles the negative thoughts were a little overwhelming ๐ so I stopped, stretched a bit, switched my music ๐ง and took a deep breath and went back out to finish my therapy๐๐จ. I may have "run sad" today, but I came out the other end feeling calmer. I love the physical and mental benefits of running, but I've decided to now use it for a greater cause... I'm going to sign up with the national MS society's "I run to stop MS" program to fundraise to find a cure for the disease. These legs were meant to do some good ๐๐ I'll be sure to update my bio with the info once I'm officially signed up. by wittenberg887
