Happy National Running Day!! I started training in August of 2012 for Team in Training and my first race was September 15th, 2012. Never had I run a race before. I ran a 10k that day, and my next race was the Disney Full! Believe that anything is possible!! Don't let anyone tell you that you can't! I think that running is a great sport because it's individual, you don't have to worry about not being 'good enoigh' for a team, or worry about other people bringing you down. The only competition is yourself, but that doesn't mean you beat yourself up either, you learn and move forward (just like running)! Team in Training has changed my life!!!! (Did I mention these all come with a shirt?!)
